Sudip Sahir and Sayantani Ghosh, who worked with Nitin, have confirmed his death, although suicide is being said on some other social media posts. There has been no official statement from Nitin’s family.
Death investigation continues, new things come to light
Police investigation revealed that Nitin was under stress due to not getting work. Was undergoing treatment for depression. He lived with his wife and daughter in an apartment located in Yashodham area.
On the evening of 7 November, when his wife went to the garden with her daughter, Nitin committed suicide. When the wife and daughter returned, it came to light. Police officials say that investigation is ongoing in the matter. Efforts are also being made to record the statements of Nitin’s family members.
Who was TV actor Nitin Chauhan
Nitin was originally from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh and came to Mumbai to make a name for himself in the world of acting. His popularity increased after winning the reality show ‘Dadagiri 2’.
After this, Nitin appeared in MTV’s ‘Splitsvilla 5’ and many other shows like ‘Zindagi Dot Com’, ‘Crime Patrol’ and ‘Friends’. Nitin was last seen in SAB TV’s ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’ serial in 2022.
Nitin’s father reached Mumbai to collect the dead body
Meanwhile, Nitin’s death was also informed to the family. It is reported that as soon as the information was received, his father left for Mumbai from Aligarh. Other members of the family are in bad condition crying.
It is believed that Nitin’s last rites will be performed in Aligarh only. The family members are not in a position to say anything right now. It is believed that while taking the investigation forward, the police may also interrogate the family.
Police have not found any suicide note yet. Nitin’s phones are being searched and it is being found out with whom he last talked.
